Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through the Informedica platform ("Platform"), including:
- Subscription plans (monthly and annual)
- Credential verification fees
- Job posting fees and boosts
- Other paid services
All refunds are processed in the original payment currency (Philippine Pesos unless otherwise specified) to the original payment method.
2. Subscription Refunds
2.1 Monthly Subscriptions
- Cancellation: You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
- No Partial Refunds: We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of a monthly subscription period.
- 7-Day Cooling-Off Period: If you are a first-time subscriber, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase if you have not used any premium features.
2.2 Annual Subscriptions
- 14-Day Cooling-Off Period: First-time annual subscribers may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if no premium features have been used.
- Pro-Rated Refunds: After the cooling-off period, annual subscribers may request a pro-rated refund (minus a 15% administrative fee) within the first 3 months of the subscription.
- No Refunds After 3 Months: Refunds are not available for annual subscriptions after the first 3 months.
2.3 Subscription Upgrades/Downgrades
- When upgrading, you will be charged the pro-rated difference for the remaining billing period.
- When downgrading, changes take effect at the next billing cycle. No refunds for the difference.
3. Credential Verification Fee Refunds
3.1 Full Refund - Request Rejected
If an organization rejects your credential verification request, you will automatically receive a full refund of the verification fee. This includes:
- The full amount paid for the verification request
- No deduction for platform commission
- Automatic processing within 5-10 business days
3.2 Refund - Request Cancelled by User
If you cancel your credential verification request before the organization has started processing it:
- Full refund if request status is still "Pending" or "Awaiting Organization Setup"
- No refund if the organization has already marked the request as "In Progress"
3.3 No Refund - Request Completed
Once a credential verification request has been completed and the credential has been issued, no refund is available.
3.4 Disputes
If you believe your credential was incorrectly verified or there was an error in processing, please contact us within 30 days. We will investigate and may issue a refund at our discretion.
4. Job Posting Refunds
4.1 Standard Job Postings
- Before Publication: Full refund if cancelled before the job is published
- After Publication: No refunds for published job postings
4.2 Job Boost Purchases
- Before Activation: Full refund if the boost has not been activated
- After Activation: No refunds for activated boosts, even if the job is filled early
4.3 Subscription-Based Job Postings
Job postings included as part of a subscription plan follow the subscription refund rules above.
5. How to Request a Refund
5.1 Automatic Refunds
The following refunds are processed automatically:
- Credential verification request rejections
- Technical errors resulting in duplicate charges
5.2 Manual Refund Requests
For all other refunds, please:
- Go to your Account Settings > Billing & Subscriptions
- Click "Request Refund" next to the relevant transaction
- Provide the reason for your refund request
- Submit your request

- Your account email
- Transaction ID or date of purchase
- Reason for refund request
6. Refund Processing
6.1 Timeline
- Approval: Refund requests are reviewed within 2-3 business days
- Processing: Approved refunds are initiated within 5 business days
- Arrival: Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer
6.2 Payment Method
Refunds are credited to the original payment method used for the purchase. If that method is no longer available, we will work with you to arrange an alternative.
6.3 Currency
Refunds are processed in the same currency as the original transaction. Exchange rate fluctuations may result in a slightly different amount in your local currency.
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Successfully completed credential verification requests
- Job postings after they have been published
- Activated job boosts
- Subscriptions beyond the cooling-off period (for monthly) or 3-month period (for annual)
- Administrative fees or penalties
- Services that have been fully rendered
8. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card company before contacting us, we may:
- Suspend your account pending investigation
- Provide evidence to dispute the chargeback
- Charge a chargeback fee if the dispute is resolved in our favor
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any billing issues.
9. Consumer Protection Rights
9.1 Philippine Consumers
This policy does not affect your rights under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394) or other applicable laws.
9.2 EU Consumers
EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases under the Consumer Rights Directive. This right may not apply to digital content once delivery has begun with your prior express consent.
9.3 US Consumers
Refund rights may vary by state. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable state consumer protection laws.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will not affect refund rights for purchases made before the change.
